The "Intelligent Future UAE, Redefining Architectural Thinking Through Artificial Intelligence" initiative represents a unique movement that brings together architecture, art, design, and AI within a forward-looking professional platform.

This annual competition invites architects, interior designers, urban designers, and project developers to submit innovative built and conceptual works developed through AI-driven approaches. The official ceremony will be held at AUD, creating a supportive environment for collaboration, responsible innovation, and human-centered practice based on global principles and values aimed at improving quality of life worldwide.

The participation structure can be defined in three main categories as follows:

category 01

Architect Individual & Firm

This category is dedicated to professional architects and architectural firms who are shaping the future of intelligent, AI-driven, and sustainable design.

Participants may submit conceptual or realized projects that demonstrate innovation in smart architecture, advanced technologies, parametric design, sustainability strategies, and visionary urban solutions aligned with the future development of the UAE.

Both individual practitioners and registered architectural firms are eligible to apply under this category.

Development Company

This category recognizes real estate developers and development companies that integrate artificial intelligence, smart systems, and advanced technologies into their projects.

Submissions should highlight intelligent planning, sustainable investment strategies, digital transformation in development processes, and the implementation of smart infrastructure and high-performance buildings.

This category celebrates companies that lead the market through innovation, technology adoption, and forward-thinking development models.

Student visionary

A dedicated section is reserved for architecture and design students who wish to present visionary and experimental ideas for the Intelligent Future of the UAE.

This section aims to empower the next generation of architects and innovators to actively participate in shaping tomorrow’s intelligent built environment.

Submission & Competition Criteria

Submission must include:

Visual materials (renderings, drawings, diagrams, plans)
A clear project narrative (approx. 250 words) explaining the integration of Generative AI
Presentation via required panel format

Submission Format

One panel (2m x 1m)
Clear visual presentation with concise explanatory text
Selected panels will be printed and exhibited publicly at AUD from April 2–4, 2026
